Aloha! My wife and I have a family size apartment for rent in a friendly neighborhood on the beautiful North Shore of Maui. The rental is a large, clean, and private apartment. Please look at our photo collection. The spacious second floor master bedroom has a lovely queen bed and large, covered outdoor deck. The first floor living area includes a futon and sofa bed in the living room, a kitchen and dining area for 4, and a bathroom. You can see the ocean and the volcano from the rooftop lanai and the deck off the master bedroom. The unit includes wi-fi internet access, cable tv, a private entrance, laundry facilities, day trip amenities, and off street parking. There is also a shower bath in the carport or hoses for use after a sandy day at the beach. The apartment is Maui County code compliant for rentals, permit #BBPH, airbnb hides the actual number. The apartment is located one block off the Hana Highway, one mile from the nearest town, and about 20 minutes from the airport. Surfer? Hookipa Beach and Jaws at Peahi are just minutes away. Haiku Town is just 2 kilometers up the road, and includes great and good restaurants, food trucks, a well stocked grocery market, and other useful stores. The daily rate for 2 people is $129 per night with a 2 night minimum. Maui is a rather small island, so our place is a great base of operations. Longer stays at our ohana are encouraged, so the time you might spend moving around can be spent enjoying the island. Check in at 2pm, out at 11am. Weekly and monthly discounts are available. We will take 3 adults or a couple with a kid for a higher rate. A crib and other items for a child are available. A $40 cleaning fee may be applied to any stay with a child under six years old. We do not instant book, but will accept your request quickly. If you are pre-approved, please let us know as soon as you can if you wish to confirm a booking. We often have other inquiries pending, and our policy is the first to confirm is the first served. We have attached recent photos of the apartment and scenics of Maui for you to consider. A word to the wise. A Maui County Rental Permit is essential for a stress-free vacation. Make sure your host has a valid permit number. Maui has a lot of unlicensed operators who cannot guarantee your reservation. Many are being shut down on short notice, sometimes after guests have already moved in! Yikes! Will they will be here when you arrive? We will! Plus, we have plans for your safety and a lot of experience creating guest satisfaction. BBPH (PERMIT NUMBER HIDDEN) Please keep in mind that we are a one unit, family style accommodation located in a neighborhood. We do not employ a large staff of housekeepers or gardeners. We depend on the tradewinds for great ventilation. If you want a guarantee of no bugs or geckos or air conditioning, you would be well advised to book into a resort or condominium.

Our guests will enjoy a private, quiet place in a friendly, humble neighborhood. Not too fancy, but very comfortable. The yard is fully fenced for privacy. This is not a place to throw a big party, but is very cozy for you and a few friends to share the barbecue. We have free extras like plenty of beach towels, supplies for kids like a crib, highchair, and beach toys, camping and picnic stuff, and storage for your surfing gear. Please do not invite any animals into the apartment. You may smoke outside on the lanai. Please be quiet by 10pm. Because of the extra effort involved, we charge a one time cleaning fee of $40 for any rental that includes kids under six years old. Please note that any human over ten years old is considered a person for our bookings. Please ask before picking our papayas and lemons when in season.
