Pass the day by the small private pond or historic barns. Wander the seemingly endless pastures, explore the old farmstead foundations, or hike through the dense woodlands of our farm. The property’s 140 acres abut Dartmouth’s 700-acre conservation lands, and the end-of-the-road location affords our visitors the utmost privacy. Capable of comfortably hosting 8 people, the 1,500 square foot guest house boats 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 lofted bunk areas as well as 3 full bathrooms. Opportunities for outdoor adventures including (trail and road) running, (road and off-road) biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, hunting and fishing onsite or nearby. In the spring and summer, blooms abound, and in the autumn, the foliage is incomparable.
There is SO MUCH beauty close to the farm. Beautiful small towns like Strafford, Norwich and Chelsea are nearby, and Barre, Montpelier, Woodstock and Hanover offer shopping and restaurants - all are about 40-50 minutes away, via stunning scenic drives. Just a little further away, Burlington is amazing, and the Shelburne Museum is one of the most eclectic - and best - museums in the country (for all ages).
The closest convenience store is 5 min away in East Corinth (at the East Corinth Store). Bradford has a great grocery store (Hannaford) and restaurants, and is about 20 min away.
If you're here on Saturday in the summer, be sure to hit Crossmolina Farm's Pizza night - it's outdoors, really good fresh pizza (all fresh and local), usually has great live music, and is an awesome way to meet some locals.
If you love to walk, bike, hike or cross-country ski or snowshoe, the fields and trails (both onsite and nearby) are wonderful. Please bring necessary clothing and equipment or make plans to rent them. Our grounds, of which a great portion is in permanent conservation, connect to the 700-acre Dartmouth Land Trust. You will be provided with a basic map in your welcome packet. Please stick to the trails and paths and refrain from picking flowers. These guidelines help to preserve this beautiful untouched land. The surrounding area is great for mountain biking (or road biking - just keep in mind that the paved road starts about a half-mile from the house) - so do bring your bikes!

With a breathtaking view of Mt. Moosilauke from the top, and compact but varied terrain, Northeast Slopes has something for everyone. Northeast Slopes has 12 trails on more than 35 skiable acres with a vertical height of 360′ and 3 surface lifts, including the new T-bar.
Skiers and boarders with more experience enjoy NES because the main ski tow—and now the T-bar—access a wide selection of rolling groomed trails as well as challenging steeps, glades, jumps and a fun terrain park.
Beginners enjoy Northeast Slopes because its “junior” ski tow provides easy access to gentle terrain that is set apart from the main slope’s skier traffic. This makes learning to ski or ride a fun and non-threatening experience.
Pro-tip: You’ll need leather gloves (for the rope tow!) and it’s bring-your-own skis. Let us know in advance if you plan to ski on your trip but do not have skis of your own, we are happy to help coordinate rentals for you.
Of course, Stow, Killington, and more are all within an hour or two.
