3bdrm located in Village of Horseheads right off I-86 on quiet road with driveway within mile of grocery, restaurants, playgrounds etc in the Finger Lakes region. Great location with plenty to do in every direction, just 13 miles to CORNING, 16 to WATKINS GLEN, 6 to ELMIRA, and 30 miles to ITHACA. There is an area map & info on desk of many restaurants, grocery, gas etc plus backroom pamphlet display of local attractions & other things to do in surrounding areas. Any questions, happy to help!
This is a one story remodeled home that has been staged to be home away from home. There are 4 TV's (one in every bedroom and one in LR) that are connected with cable and living room also has DVD player plus cards, games, books, magazines and puzzles.
Place also has a desk/work station, secured wireless internet, washer & dryer, iron & ironing board, hangers, plenty of bathroom supplies (shampoo, cond, soap dispensers, towels, hand towels, wash clothes, hair dryer, lotion, tissue) & kitchen items including service for up to 8, pots, pans, strainer, blender, mixer, rice cooker, serving bowls & trays, griddle, toaster, cork screw, bottle opener, can opener and keurig to help make your stay comfortable as well some kcups, tea bags, and hot cocoa ind servings too!
All linens, blankets, pillows and extras are also provided.
There is an electric fireplace in the Living room during the winter months (looks pretty and gives off additional heat if desired) and in the summer months there are three window Air Conditioners (Living Room & 2bdrms).
DRIVEWAY has ample space for few cars if you're in the area to catch up with family and friends and need a place to entertain. No on street parking overnight permitted in village.
Whether you're traveling for work or pleasure, and even with children (sorry, no dogs) this is a great place to stay. There are no carpets and all beds and pillow cases have an extra plastic or protective cover. There is extra bedding and pillows in the laundry room if needed, and 2 baby gates, plug covers, and booster seat as well.
There is a backdoor that leads to private indoor patio area with wicker seating and small outdoor patio area with additional seating for smoking or peaceful relaxing.
Note, there is one 8-inch step at entry but I do have a detachable ramp that is several feet long that can be easily attached or removed.
NO KEY needed with keyless electronic doorpad so can “check-in” anytime. Your unique entry code for your stay will be valid at 3pm on check in day until 12pm check out day. It will be messaged to you prior to check in day but not activated until that day. Simply enter one digit at a time on the digit-pad located above the doorknob of front door and the green light will appear and will hear latch open. This allows you to come and go as you please during stay and “check-in” anytime since you won't need any actual key. After each “check-out” that code is deleted and not used again. I like the security of only one code activated at a time so no one else has access during your stay. NO Local guest reservations, not intended as a local rental unit, must reside at least 60 miles out to reserve.
This private house is located in a quiet neighborhood with shopping and restaurants less than a mile away plus two parks within walking distance and another close by. Area map and guide on desk of Grocery, Parks, Coffee, Restaurants, Spas, Liquor/wine store, Brewery's, Gym, Gasoline, Pharmacy, Theater etc. plus pamphlet display in laundry room of local and surrounding areas of things to do.
