This is a TOP RATED Bourbon Distiller only 8 miles from Mashburn Mountain Lodge. The owners are fantastic hosts (and great friends of ours) and the tour is a must do. Bourbon, Rye and their Silver Queen Corn based Vodka are our favorites. Ask for a sample of the :"snow cream" and the ice cream with the bourbons in it! You heard right!

An amazing waterfall that is so close and so easy to get to. How cool is it? Well, our son got married here.

An amazing waterfall that is so close and so easy to get to. How cool is it? Well, our son got married here.
Its only 2 miles from Mashburn Mountain. The deepest gorge east of the Mississippi river and it is so cool! An awesome view and (if your legs are strong) an even more spectacular hike. You will need a reservation to descend into the gorge. In 1970 Karl Wallenda walked across the gorge on a cable on a windy, hot July afternoon. My husband, Van, was 15 years old and he was there to watch it!

Tallulah Gorge
Its only 2 miles from Mashburn Mountain. The deepest gorge east of the Mississippi river and it is so cool! An awesome view and (if your legs are strong) an even more spectacular hike. You will need a reservation to descend into the gorge. In 1970 Karl Wallenda walked across the gorge on a cable on a windy, hot July afternoon. My husband, Van, was 15 years old and he was there to watch it!
