The best way to experience Malmö is by foot!

Bus
Are you traveling within Malmö or to cities close by, the easiest way is mostly to go there by bus (with reservation for Copenhagen - to which you go by train). The green ones are driving within Malmö, whilst the yellow ones go further. The closest bus station from home is Disponentgatan, but if you walk just a little bit further you will reach Malmö Stadshuset. The station Malmö Stadshuset has the best connections.

Electric scooters
There are tons of Electric Scooters to rent from a handful of different companies (Lime, Voi, Tier etc...). Download their app, state your credit card info, and use the scooters on taxameter. You will get access to an online map on which you can find the closest scooter to pick up. When arrived to your destination, you can put the scooter wherever you'd like. It costs pretty much the same as a cab fare would do - but it might be a more pleasant experience. If you have any questions I'll answer you personally!

How to get to Copenhagen
Walk to the Triangel station (10 minutes from home). You can also get there by bus 6 from Disponentgatan.
There go trains from the Triangel station to Copenhagen every 20 minutes.
If you want to stroll around in the city center, get off at Kopenhavn hovedbanegård (Central station). Tivoli is right outside of this station. If you would like to visit Louisiana museum, you go a little bit further to Humlebaek.
I personally recommend you to start at the museum, and then take the train back to Nørreport Station, to finally walk from there along strøget all way back to Hovedbangård.
