A mere 2.5 miles away is Portreath Beach with a lovely cafe/restaurant and excellent Fish & Chips takeaway. This is our nearest beach. Great for families, solo visitors and a great surf beach!

Favourite Beach
Gwithian Beach also known as Gwithian Towans. Our favourite beach. 3 miles of sand with great surfing waves. Plenty of space for relaxing and playing. There are caves, rock pools deep enough to jump into with a great lifeguard service and loo's. Please check the lifeguard situation and the tide times before visiting. Post code: TR27 5BT.
There are a couple of car parks and you can park on the road if there is space and walk across to the beach. Couple of great cafe/restaurant bars here in two different locations but please check on opening times. Look up:

Add to this beaches to suit all and it is what we feel encapsulates Cornwall all in one hit! Beautiful and alive with arts and culture. We simply love it here.

Theatrics
OK, so.we have had to list this as the Tehidy Woods, North Car Park 'BUT' bare with us.
The most wonderful immersive theatrical shows happen here various times of the year and if you have the time and inclination we 'highly' recommend them. Rogue Theatre are simply fantastic and alongside the setting you feel as though you have entered the fairy and piskie like nature of Cornwall.
Mantinee and Evening showings. We personally love the evenings due to the lighting. Suitable for adults and children alike. To check shows dates and times and to book tickets see here:
