The Kirkfield Lift Lock is a National Historic Site and a landmark of the area. It is the second highest hydraulic lift lock in the world with a lift of 15 metres (49 ft). It's fun to watch the boats being transported up and down in this giant "bath tub." You'll be shocked by how fast it happens!

The Kirkfield Lift Lock is a National Historic Site and a landmark of the area. It is the second highest hydraulic lift lock in the world with a lift of 15 metres (49 ft). It's fun to watch the boats being transported up and down in this giant "bath tub." You'll be shocked by how fast it happens!
