A lovely little town to tour about 1/2 hour away! Eat, drink, tour the shops and the town. Plenty to see here including the "Hanging Man" in front of one of the shops. This old Gold Rush Era town used to be called Hangtown for a reason! Want to know more about this time in history... order the comical book "By the Great Horn Spoon" that I used to read to my 4th grade students. I personally enjoy this book immensely. For adults to!
