From my place, Utrechtsestraat is just across the bridge and is one of Amsterdam's best districts for restaurants, cafes and bars.

Giant old barrels, wonky under-sized bar stools, a great atmosphere and no music! It's like being in the 1820s, when I think the present owner may have been born.
