Food Scene
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Every dish has a very thoughtful and beautiful presentation with a modern interior which makes for a serene environment. Overall, flavors are authentic and very flavorful.
Hai Yang Chicken my go to dish. Moist chicken and sauces compliment each other. The red sauce has a little kick, sweet and savory and mixed with ginger. Lovely turmeric rub on the chicken, and I was surprised at how moist the chicken was. Comes with a papaya salad that was delicious but could have been flavored more. Don't forget to grab an adult drink or Thia ice tea.

Marzano's entrees are delicious & a good value, they have big salads, & the pizza's are exceptional. We highly enjoyed the wood fire pizza, steak dinner & salad. There is a nice bar & outdoor seating, wood fire oven & it's kid friendly. There is also a great happy hour menu from 5:30-6:30!

This place was so delicious and the staff are so sweet. The menu changes daily, so I alway find something new to love. Today got a side of a biscuit and sticky bun and I quickly realized that I will be making that my new routine! I can't wait to return to this spot.

Dimond slice - a vegetarian pizza concepts where they only sell one kind per day. Menu is posted on their website. But I have heard that you can customize it as long as they have the ingredient on hand.
Dimond slice, Arizmendi, cheeseboard all taste very similar but I think Dimond slice is on the softer side.
I love how Dimond is closest to my house and this is the reason I'm a regular here! You must try the green sauce. The have a daily salad with homemade dressing. Huge portion - well worth it.
There is also a wall of chalkboard where you let your kiddos go crazy. Try it you'll like it.

We usually order these dishes and share:
Papaya salad: papaya had a nice bite to them, the chicken a nice touch (shrimp was the other option and probably would have been good too), it was dressed in that fish sauce dressing. It was quite a refreshing salad.
Chicken curry: I forgot the name of it, but it was curry and had chicken. The sauce was smooth and creamy. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The veggies in the curry really soaked up the flavors. I really enjoyed this dish.

The best-kept secret in the Bay is Friday and Saturday nights are the telescopes,. Volunteers man these amazing giant scopes and point them toward the stars. On a clear night, you can get a great view of Saturn's rings, Jupiter's moons, and the brightest stars and planets in the sky.

I highly recommend checking it out if you're in San Francisco!

Green StreetThis place is totally one-of-a-kind and a must-see. Come early and plan to spend the whole day. I LOVE this place!!! I've been a member here for over 10 years. I alway have a wonderful experience lots of interactive art instillations and they change things up pretty often too. Great for all ages. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in San Francisco!

The parking is located beneath the museum and has plenty of parking for guests who choose to drive. The architecture is very cool as the museum is broken up into four main exhibits that seem to grow out of each other.
The standing exhibits include a California art exhibit, a California natural history exhibit, and a California culture and history exhibit. They also offer rotating exhibits for an additional charge. The natural history and culture exhibits as they told a very unique story about what makes California unique and great.

As an attendee for a many of these already, I think it's a blast. Super diverse crowd. You'll see live bands playing outside, Dancers, people rapping/singing, or just playing some underground hip hop (ever so often), low riders and nice cars. Most of the bars and restaurants are open along this way.
Drinks & Nightlife
This is definitely a fun spot - Drake's always has good beer, and I think that they've done a great job at creating a space that complements both their beer and that of some other local breweries. The food here is killer, too!
One thing that I absolutely loved was the setup here - there are fire pits with seating around the outside of the outdoor space, as well as some tables in the middle and a fun tiered seating area in the back corner. There are also several large indoor rooms, so there's seating all around!

2325 BroadwayThis is definitely a fun spot - Drake's always has good beer, and I think that they've done a great job at creating a space that complements both their beer and that of some other local breweries. The food here is killer, too!
One thing that I absolutely loved was the setup here - there are fire pits with seating around the outside of the outdoor space, as well as some tables in the middle and a fun tiered seating area in the back corner. There are also several large indoor rooms, so there's seating all around!

Alcatraz Island was absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend for you to visit it. We had no problem booking as we went on a weekday and brought our tickets online but if you're looking to book a night tour definitely book months in advance.

I go here for the pharmacy and it's wonderful. Very quick service and the staff is so nice. The wait is usually 15 minutes or less or you can just drop it off and pick it up later.
