Van Gogh lived for a while in Hackford Road, a short walk from the house. Amble through Van Gogh Walk and view the outside of the house where he lodged as a young man and fell in love with his landlady (and her daughters). Unrequited, as he was quite strange.

You are in one of the oldest parts of London. Heritage everywhere.

Afterwards walk up to the river past Lambeth Palace (ancient home of the Archbishop of Canterbury) and look across to Parliament.
