They brew their own beer. Great to sit and watch the cricket in the park and sup some real ale.

You can walk to this through the valley from Bollington. I used to walk this every morning with my dog going along from Ingersley vale, through the fields and back via the old cart track and Savio house back to Bollington. Only took an hour and 15. This pub is halfway if you fancy a pit stop.

Great food!! Book as it’s really busy and not that big. Perfect for breakfast or lunch and definitely an excellent choice.

If your feeling lazy but need just a small stroll this one is only a 20/30 minute walk each way. You can walk along the canal and come back down the middle wood way back through the park. Just enough to get the digestive system rolling!

Excellent food. Quite big but you still often need to book as it’s very popular. Has a decent Carpark which is always a plus.

Sightseeing
If your a walker you can walk along the canal cross over and head up into the park for a pit stop at the cafe here before heading back up the hill and along the gritstone trail a bit before dropping down in to Pott Shrigley and back. Will be about 4 hours of walking plus whatever you get Upto in lime park. Makes a great day out. You can of course drive.

Great place to visit the charity shops a pick up a discarded designer handbag or outfit as this town is brimming with footballers and entrepreneurs. On a Saturday you can sit and watch the fast cars jostling for pole position in front of the cameras.

National trust so perfect excuse to use your Trust card. The Carpark by the old Wizzard pub (closed) is also national trust so enables you to park and have a walk on the edge.
Hare Hill Park and Gardens.
