Sightseeing
15 minutes away (13 km) is the Mont Morissette Park where it
occupies an area of 589 hectares and has 13km of marked trails
for hiking in summer and snowshoeing in winter (6 different trails
for levels, duration and distance) An 18 meter observation tower
offers breathtaking views of dozen lakes, including the Blue Sea Lake,
it is located beside a old fire tower, one of the few that still exists in
Québec. There is also an option to drive to the top (without hiking)

This bike path is located 1.1km (5 minutes by bicycle ride) from the cottage. Featuring a 28 kilometers of paved road between Gracefield and Messines and another 72km stretch of gravel and dust, will treat you to a variety of scenery. Alongside several crystalline lakes, forests and farmlands. One of the first sections of the Trans Canada Trail in Québec.

76 Chem. de la Montagne, Lac-Sainte-Marie. 45 minutes drive from the cottage (60km or 49 km route options). At Mont Ste-Marie they have two peaks, and lots of great ways to get down them. Offers lessons and rentals.
Vanier Mountain offers the region’s best intermediate terrain. The long trails offer spectacular views in a relaxed environment. For the more adventuresome, you will also find the Liberation snowpark and laid back trails among the trees. No matter what kind of run you’re looking for, you’ll find it here.
Cheval Blanc peak offers some of the best intermediate and expert terrain in Quebec.
With over 1,200 vertical feet of top-notch fall line skiing and riding, Cheval Blanc has developed a reputation of greatness for cruising and steeps. Betsy was voted “Best Steeps” in Quebec and Outaouais, and best cruiser in a recent Ski Canada reader’s poll.
