If you love authentic wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, you’ll LOVE Cane Rosso! Their Billy Ray Valentine with smoked bacon and sweety drop peppers is out of this world! If you prefer the basics, their Margherita pizza is to die for, or if veggies is more your style, try the Voodoo Mama Juju. You won’t be dissappointed in the pizza, but they also offer delicious-sounding pastas (I haven’t ever gotten past the pizza tho!) and a wonderful dessert menu.

Go early if possible, as the wait can be long at times.

They serve traditional Mexico City recipes with modern Santa Fe and Tex Mex flavors. Prices are reasonable for what you get, and anything on the menu is delicious! Go early if possible, as the wait can be long at times.

They sell their meats by the pound (brisket, pork ribs, sausage, pulled pork, chicken... the list goes on and on! And the food is pretty good too! This is a great place to go to watch any of your favorite games, or just to wind down and enjoy a beer or margarita. We’ve tried the Donkey Balls (delicious!), Bacon Thingies (my favorite), Fish and Chips (honestly the best fish and chips I’ve had in the area), and the classic cheeseburger.

For more than 40 years, the architecturally significant, spiritually important Square has joined together myriad religions, cultures and traditions by providing a public space dedicated to gratitude.
The sunken design of the Garden at Thanks-Giving Square creates place of refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Flowing waters from the Great Fountain dampen the noises of the surrounding city and create a serene atmosphere perfect for reflecting and contemplation. To the west, the bell tower punctuates the space, complemented by the nearby mosaic of Norman Rockwell’s famous “Golden Rule” painting. To the east stands The Chapel of Thanksgiving, a winding white structure symbolizing the ancient spiral of life and the infinite upward reach of the human spirit. The Dallas Farmers Market may not be on everyone’s list of shopping locations in Dallas, but it’s on mine because it’s so much fun! You can find all the seasonal fresh produce you might expect to find at a farmers market, but you’ll also find restaurants, artisanal food vendors, and seating areas both inside and out where you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in a view of the Dallas skyline or observing the market-goers.
