if you want an enjoyable walk, rollerblade or bike ride, try the lake front, accessible by Salem rd/Pickering Beach rd. NOTE, if you're parking during the summer months between April 1st and Sept 1st, on weekends, you'll need a parking pass. Visit ajax dot ca regarding waterfront parking OR let me know ahead that you'll visit and I'll add your license to my residential permit.

Lots of trails and waterfront views with a boat landing access. Canoe, kayak, seadoo. hike, bike or have a picnic! Bring change of clothes and cool off during summer months at the splashpad! Little pavilion has washroom access and snacks center, just don't forget to feed the ducks :)

Accessible via Church St (north of Taunton) or Westney (first LEFT after the old traintrack bridge), this spot has unique and height-defying trails that make for a beautiful pictureque scene. Bring watershoes and a picnic basket for some R&R, and hike along the creek. (Oh and bugspray if you're like me....)
