Off leash dog trails, Shakespeare in the park, a zoo! This park has hiking and biking trails, cherry blossoms, a cafe and multiple ponds. It's great for trail running, walking around, dog walks, and picnics. You'll feel like you left the city.
If you enter by way the North end of the park there are also baseball diamonds, tennis courts, a public pool and soccer fields.

The pavillion here has been around since the 20s and is really iconic. The beach itself is nice and not overly crowded. The water isn't the nicest in terms of the beaches around Toronto but the quality is checked regularly.
There is also a really great public pool located right beside the beach!
