They allow dogs inside, so you'll see the locals having dinner and beers with their canines next to them, which makes the place feel very homely.
They serve nice hearty dinners.

The interior is very rugged- bare brick walls, old school tiles.
They are known for serving a nice roast chicken with beautiful veggies, salad and fries.

A huge park which is great for picnics, cycling, or just a good walk. It contains a huge lake with heaps of ducks that love to be fed some bread!

It has a cool bar (obviously called the Opera Bar) which is huge and serves cocktails as well as food. A solid tourist destination, with great views towards the Harbour Bridge.

This is a very upmarket grocery store, so expect prices to be slightly higher than your average grocer.
It is however a very convenient place to shop, as it is walking distance from the apartment. It is also prettier than your average grocery store, so worth a visit when you need some food!
