A small pub on Sandgate Road, with an extension to the rear where window seats overlook the beach and English Channel, and where there is a roof-top seating area for drinks & food al fresco when the weathers fine.
Little Known Fact:
Vincent Van Gogh would visit the pub and stayover in its guest rooms - he had a girlfriend who worked as a barmaid here, this was during the time he lived in London and worked with the church, before he took on painting full-time.
