What can I say? I was skeptical at first but now I'm addicted. You can't beat the lunch special $5 for a spicy tuna handroll as big as your head.

Best tuna salad sandwich! It's probably the quietest of all Evanston's coffee shops...or at least it has been the times I've been there. The place is eclectically decorated with funky furniture. It's a really treasure if you're looking for some place that's not "cookie-cutter."

Five and Dime is on the top floor of a 3 restaurant complex. It's a great place for a summer evening with it's large open-air dining area. I recommend the "Yes, please" cocktail. They are tasty and go down easy. Good thing you are walking back!

Crazy good gourmet tacos! A bit pricey but really worth it. Margaritas are lovely as well. The decorating theme is Lucha Libra, with great mod art.

Lovely winding path along the lake front. Tennis courts, sail boat rentals, picnic spots with grills. There's also a pond that host gaggles of ducklings in the late spring. In the summer that pond becomes the centerpiece for a number of music, culture and art festivals.
