The front part of La Michuacana is a Mexican grocery, but all the way at the back is the kitchen. The food here is great and very authentic Mexican. Order at the kitchen window, grab a drink out of one of the coolers, and check out is at the register at front when you are done eating. We love their burritos and ceviche, but everything is very good here!

A few miles' drive out of town, but if you are staying in Eastman a while and want to grill up a fantastic steak or have a wonderful pile of wild Georgia shrimp, this is the BEST location to procure your meats and seafood. Everything is locally sourced or comes from Amish farms. They also have a small selection of fresh and frozen veggies, desserts, sauces, etc.

When we are craving upmarket food in an urban-chic atmosphere, this is our favorite "date night" spot. It's about 35 minutes' drive, but when we are missing our Big City home, this is the cure!

Cute little froyo shop that also serves coffees and cafe items. Wish it was downtown, but it's not far from the house down Oak St., next to the second Flash Foods gas station.

An interesting mix of vintage and antique items, clothing, furniture, household goods, glassware, etc. The selection ranges from trash to treasure, but if you like "junkin" this is the best place in town to wander for an hour. I've found some great deals here, too, especially compared with Big City antiques markets.
