Coffee shops in Vietnam are very diverse in style, vibes and are everywhere. Here is a list of my favorite coffee shops in Saigon.Some are great for working, others are great relax and of course, all of them have good Vietnamese coffees as well as specialty and Western coffees.
A small coffee shop, perfectly to sit and relax. The price is somewhat more expensive compare to other Vietnamese coffee shop.This coffee shop is more focused on the western coffee.

Even though this one is a bit far from the condo ( 15-20 mins taxi) , this is my to go coffee shop. This shop has been here since 1960s ! Absolutely local favorite ! Note: there will be no table or a legit shop, just stools on the alley and enjoy the BEST Vietnamese coffee ( IMHO :) )

We would recommend you to walk to the park in early morning ( 7am), especially weekend because you will see many activities from young people to elder ones. They are the essential part of Saigon and you can sense their energy while walking around the park.

District 5, which is one of the oldest district in Saigon. Unlike Ben Thanh Market, Chợ Lớn Market has local vibes and great energy as well as present how locals shop/trades for their daily life. Note: It is not near by our home, taxi would take 25 mins to get there. We would recommend this for any guest who is adventurous and love to explore Saigon.

Note: It is not near by our home, taxi would take 25 mins to get there. We would recommend this for any guest who is adventurous and love to explore Saigon.
Want to see how the youth in Saigon doing ? Come here and you will see many young people practicing their dance skills ( including me ;). This is the spot for dancers/breakdancers around Saigon to hangout every night in weekdays ( 8pm - 11pm : Monday - Friday) to practice their skills together. Its right at District 1.

Hand down my favorite Bun Bo Hue spot in Saigon. Open from very early morning until 9-10 am ONLY. Very small space with 2-3 tables and lots of people. It is for a reason !
