The top of Tower Hill is only a 15 minute walk from the flat and rewards you with glorious views of Helensburgh and Dunoon to the north.

Another easy walk away, Cardwell Bay is only 15 minutes away adjacent to Battery Park. A nice stroll along the riverside and a lovely park with space to run about and several play-parks and athletic fields.

Local fishery and cafe just a 10 minute drive away adjacent to Loch Thom and Dunrod Hill. A lovely place to go walking with access to the Greenock Cut walking trail and a nice spot for a really above average cup of coffee (full old style Italian espresso machine in operation). Go for a walk or have a go at fishing.

One of the only outdoor heated saltwater pools left around, it's located just a 5 minute walk from the flat and is usually open from May to October each year. Also has a lovely gym and fitness centre.

Just a few miles up the road heading south, this caravan park has a lovely swimming pool and spa area with sauna, whirlpool and steam room. The facility has lovely views out over the river and you can just pay for an individual session. There are also massage therapy treatments available. A nice place to escape to if the weather isn't cooperating.

Wonderful Fish & Chips and Pizza from Mamma Francas. Only a few minutes walk away if you turn right out the front flat door. Generous portions and very fresh.

A local institution, this cafe has been around over a hundred years. Beautiful inside and out with lovely views over the river from the dining area at the back and a great vibe. Lovely spot for a drink or a bite to eat.
