Great for walking the dog.
Great for children there is a play area and a bespoke skate park.
Great for families who want a stroll around numerous footpaths whilst take in mining history.
Tip: With your back to the bungalow turn right walk up the road. Passing a small park on your left you may walk your dog here. Or at the T junction walk straight across the road you will see a gate and a path. Take this path.
Follow the path as the path opens up you will have unlimited views of Carn Brea Monument, The Castle, South Crofty Engine House, Heartlands and Cornwall College. The field is open for walking your dog as it is part of the Tuckingmill Valley Park. On further exploration of the park there is a playground and a skate park on the lower level down the steps by the play area.

Tip:Walk from bungalow or Park at the South Drive Entrance car park walk through park to the North Cliff Plantation exit.
Walk across the coastal road (B3301)
and walk down the track to the coastal footpath. When joining the coastal footpath turn left (facing the sea) and walk along the coastal footpath when you arrive at the North Cliffs parking area on the footpath . Leave the path via the car park and opposite you will see a footpath sign over a granite style into a field. Take this path. This path leads to Coombe. At Coombe turn left to continue down the hill on the road. BEFORE the bridge over the stream. Take the footpath into Tehidy Country Park this will lead to back to your car if walking retrace your steps when getting to the South Drive Car Park .
