If you are going to swim there, I highly recommend buying swimming shoes so as not to cut your feet on the carals.
Bus 534 goes there from piazza Paolo Borsellino.

Also, there are a lot of different companies on the Internet that collect groups and organize excursions. The minimum price is from 40 euros for climbing the mountain and a tour.
