On the Lebanese coast, the Phoenician town "Anfeh", rich with beauty and history, is an exquisite gem overlooking the salines extending along the rocky beaches, windmills, and the sea.
Anfeh is one of the oldest continuously inhabited Phoenician towns in Lebanon, Remnants of Phoenician presence and tales, and remains of at least 3,000 years of human occupation.
An amazing sight of Anfeh’s ancient salines built on its rocky beaches. Known historically for its salt production “the white gold” since the Phoenician time. It had revived its sea salt production by installing traditional sea wind wheels along its shore.

Tahet el Rih beach or under the wind is a gorgeous simplified version of Mykonos, Greece with small white/turquoise wooden cabins and chalets. Wooden bridges, passages and balconies border the sea to give the visitors a gorgeous view of the clear water. In addition, wind wheels are spotted among the white cabins and they serve to pump sea water for salt extraction
