If you're looking for a place to get some stellar bar food (burgers, fried-chicken sandwiches, and more), check out Prohibition River! They have a southern spin on American bar food and it's super tasty. When the weather's nice they have a really cute back patio that is great for catching happy hour.

Really small espresso bar with a great location and nice strong espresso drinks. This is also a cyclist hot spot - if you go early enough in the morning, you can interact with the many cyclists in the area. We recommend getting your espresso drink of choice with a coffee and then walking around downtown.

Mumbai Dreams makes all of their food by hand every day. And you can tell. The food is delectable. So many options. We recommend literally everything! But if you have a hard time deciding, some of our favorites are the vegetable samosas, chicken tikka tacos, vegetable paneer, tandoori chicken, biriyani, butter mac and cheese... could probably go on forever.

Piermont is the next town over. If you have a car, we recommend driving over and viewing the lovely mansions on River Street on the way down. Alternatively, it's probably a 10 minute Uber/Lyft to downtown Piermont. Once you're there, check-out the quirky village filled with thrift shops, art galleries, restaurants, cafes, and more. The true gem of Piermont is the scenic pier, where you can enjoy the serene water views and take in the ancient history of the area.

If you have a car, we highly recommend exploring Sparkill, which is a couple villages over. It's a little less popular than Nyack, but has some really great food gems (DVine Bar) and beautiful nature views (Tallman Mountain State Park).

The whole point of visiting Nyack is to walk the streets of Broadway and Main st. Both streets are perfectly located downtown a couple blocks from the waterfront and lined with shops, restaurants, cafes, and musical entertainment. Have fun!
