Bredon hill is the closest Hill to the house, and you can see it distinctive ridge wherever you go in the area. We climb it regularly from the door (although it is not for the faint hearted, a good 6 hour trek). If thats not your style you can climb it from many of the little villages near by, some easy and some a little more challenging, we can provide you with maps and advice to get you up there and enjoy the views.

Westonbirt is the national Arboretum and probably the most well know in the country. It is in our opinion simply the best arboretum we have ever visited. It is about an hours drive from the house but well worth a visit, it is dog friendly and has a wonderful cafe.

If you don't want to travel so far to Westonbirt Arboretum - Batsford Arboretum is about a 25 minute drive from the house and a close second in our opinion. Whilst there you can visit the beautiful Village of Bourton on the Hill.

Another delightful stroll from the house will bring you to the riverside village of Fladbury. The Village has not one but two pubs and more importantly the utterly marvellous Fladbury pie shop. Not to be missed by any self respecting food lover - these pies are well worth the walk.

Revills is a family owned business with friendly staff, wonderful produce and a lovely cafe, outdoor seating and stunning views. If you paddle with us this is a great spot to have lunch afterwards, and if you don't there are great walks from the shop and free parking.
