Food scene
Claims to be the oldest pub in Albany. Very pretty pub and just across the road! Serves food as well. Strangely not always open on Sundays.

Waterfront restaurant and bar. 5 min walk or 2 min drive from the Masonic. Very good food even if the interior is a bit barn-like. You can't book but generally not long waits, and you can always wait at the bar. They have specials on particular nights of the week eg Pizza specials on Mondays (very very good pizzas)
