Carr Canyon Ranch is just at the beginning of the mountain climbing road with ruins to see. The Waterfall and it's run off is also accessible from the road but you must be cautious if you plan on hiking to it when it is running with water; I cannot express this enough. And be more cautious if you plan on attempting to hike towards the top. The mountain road ends at the camp ground and there are many trails along the way that will lead you to the mountain peaks. Please bring plenty of water with you, especially during the hotter months.

Parker Lake is a smaller lake located on the west side of the Huachuca Mountains that has fishing, swimming and boat rentals.

This is a moderate hike with a steady uphill trail, leading to a dark, dusty underdeveloped cave. The cave is located approximately .25 mile away of the visit center, staying on the north side of the road. It is .5 mile to the cave entrance with an elevation gain of 500 feet. Some light screaming over slick rocks is required to descend to the cave floor. Be sure to bring water and your flashlights. Dogs are not allowed on this trail or inside the cave.
