The Camel Trail is a hugely popular cycleway which runs from Padstow to Wadebridge and then on to the foot of Bodmin Moor. Following 17 miles of disused railway line the Camel Trail runs through some of the South-West's most breath-taking countryside. The first, most popular, section of the Camel Trail runs from the picturesque fishing port of Padstow to Wadebridge. This section runs along the banks of the Camel Estuary with its beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife. The second section of the Trail runs from Wadebridge through the woodland countryside of the Camel Valley to Bodmin. Finally, the Trail runs from Bodmin further inland to the quaint moorland village of Blisland at the foot of Bodmin Moor. This slightly more challenging section takes in some of the South-West's most historic countryside and many heritage sites along the way.

This fantastic bike trail offers a variety of trails for all abilities. The most gentle ride takes you deep into little explored woodland on the estate. Suitable for families and beginners the trail is wide, well surfaced and has no challenging technical features. This trail is also suitable for trailers, tagalongs and disability bikes. If the kids have any energy left after their bike ride they can blow off even more steam in the new adventure playground which is located near the Park Café and the car park

The Huer's Hut is a listed building in Newquay. It may date from the 14th century and have originally seen use asa hermitage and lighthouse. By the 16th century it was used as a lookout point for the seasonal arrival of pilchards in the bay. A man known as a huer would signal the arrival of the pilchards and direct fishermen towards them. Even The Beatles visited Huer's Hut on their Magical Mystery Tour in the 1960’s!

St Ives lies north of Penzance and west of Camborne on the coast of the Celtic Sea. In former times it was commercially dependent on fishing. The decline in fishing, however, caused a shift in commercial emphasis, and the town is now primarily a popular seaside resort, notably achieving the title of Best UK Seaside Town from the British Travel Awards in both 2010 and 2011. St Ives was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1639. St Ives has become renowned for its number of artists and Tate Gallery.

The Eden Project is located in a reclaimed china clay pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell. The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The larger of the two biomes simulates a rainforest environment (and is the largest indoor rainforest in the world) and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.
