Further away than nearby Heckscher Park, but well worth exploring. It's an ideal getaway spot with miles of paths, great for walking, hiking, biking, bird watching, nature photography and study, including equestrian activities in case you're bringing your horse(s) with you :-)

It's an upscale supermarket. At least that's what their prices suggest, but I shop there anyway, because it's very close to our house. There are also grocery stores, dry cleaners, a Liquor store, Coffee shops, Take outs, Nail Salon, Spa, Gas stations etc, all within 2 minutes on foot from our house.

1-minute walk from our house. My husband and I used to go there every Friday to see regulars and play shuffle board. It's a bit of a dive/ hole-in-the-wall, but has character of sorts...as well as a pool table and dartboard. Apparently they serve good burgers, although I can't personally affirm that.
