One of a kind bakery with great hot sandwich fare. Plus a convenient all-in-one grocery store that harks back to homesteader times. (In fact walking through the door you fall right back into homesteader times!). Long drive but absolutely beautiful, especially the return. True to Alaska and not to be missed - a truly great stop!

Also simply a worthwhile, value-adding stop. It may sound commonplace, but it is not! This Chamber is different! They keep on the ball and renew their information/advice weekly! Great help and you are nearly guaranteed to leave here with solid advice for new, great destinations.
