Vauxhall is known for its vibrant gay nightlife with lots of bars and nightclubs, including the famous Vauxhall Tavern for cabaret nights and Fire nightclub. There is also a small City farm here and small park - the Pleasure Gardens.

The quickest and easiest way to get around London, and the flat is well connected on the Northern Line at Oval and Victoria Line at Stockwell.

Buses go everywhere!
Buses are the cheapest option to travel, and the best option when the Tube is closed. Buses from Vassell Road go all across the city and are every few minutes.

Taxis
There are several taxi apps in London - Uber is not as reliable or cheap as it used to be but you can use it ok, Free Now is a really good app as you can book across several taxi firms. You can hail a London Cab from the city easily, but less so locally. Other tax apps are: Kapten and Addison Lee

Cycling & Scooters
Cycling in London has become much safer and more accessible. You can use the Santander bikes from many locations or you can use apps such as Uber, Lime and Bird for electric bikes and scooters. A great way to get around the City with lots of cycle lanes to use - but not always cheap.
