Souvenirs!
We recommend buying your souvenirs at the local stores rather than the theme parks. Even Walmart, Target, and publix(grocery store) have a great selection of disney and Universal Studios merchandise at a fraction of the cost of the theme parks or Disney springs.

Reserve in advance! most of the restaurants only accept reservations, and the ones that accept walk-throughs have long wait times.

Most of the parks don't charge for kids under 3. in addition, they are equipped with well supplied nurseries.
We personally enjoy the character dining, most of them are buffet style or 4+ course meals, kids love it, and they get to meet their favorite characters! (bring your book signing) You need to book this in advance*
