Looking for excellent, fresh, pour over coffee or hot tea? Minds Eye is the stop in town. You’ll frequently see a crew of locals holding down the benches out front. Inside is full of North Coast lore and history, as well as a chalkboard menu, antique cash register (don’t worry, they take cards too), and some of the nicest staff you’ll find anywhere. The owners and their family are frequently in the shop as well, and it’s a great stop for more local info. The cookies and scones aren’t bad either! 😉

This small batch bakery is sure to satisfy the sweet tooth in your group. They have cookies, cinnamon rolls, pastries, and even savory scones or quiches. Personally I recommend their soup for lunch with a savory scone to dunk in it. But truly, everything is good, and is a great option for a quick, to-go breakfast to bring home.

Looking for a hearty, traditional breakfast? This is your stop! Plan ahead though, as they only take cash. Sit at the bar, a small table, or one large enough for the entire extended family! This is the locals stop of choice, and you’ll frequently see the dairymen drop in for breakfast or a friendly game of dice or cards.
