Awesome wine bar! Beautiful inside. They only serve charcuterie and desserts but it is well worth a visit for an after dinner nightcap. They have a full bar as well. Fairly young crowd when we were there.

Food is good but chowder is not what you would get in New England. I guess it’s southern style but I like the place. It’s fun. The lobster rolls were decent and you get two for $25.

This is our favorite restaurant on the island. It’s near the bridge and is a cute little seafood restaurant. Very Cape Cod feel to it. Mussels were amazing and the best blueberry cheesecake you will ever have!

Best steak fries I’ve ever tasted… not kidding!!! Not a place for kids unless they are really well behaved. Very romantic for a date.

We didn't have one so we ate at the bar. Food was amazing. It was fancy Southern if that makes sense. Husband had fried chicken and gumbo. I had steak and fries.

Rent a pontoon boat across the street from our house. Take the boat over to Cumberland island and see the wild horses or go to tiger island and have a private beach picnic. We have chairs and beach towels and an ice chest for you to pack with food and drinks. Super fun day!
There is a boat dock at the ice house which is the old ice storage facility for the Carnegies. This is where the ferry drops off passengers so you can't dock your boat their but you can drop off passengers and your ice chest. Then move the boat further out and drop the anchor. Someone will have to swim or wade in to the island but it is not difficult. There are picnic tables and several exhibits to look at from the remains of the former estate.
