Great play space for kids
Canoe Lake is opposite South Parade Pier. It has pedalos for hire, a play ground, splash park in summer. There is a great model village (with food and drink), a rose garden for quiet moments and a museum with butterflies.

The D-Day museum is an exciting location for families. Telling the story through holograms of participants - soldiers, commanders. The last landing craft in the UK is there, together with details of the Normandy landings
