Parks & Nature
Great place for a walk or run, there is a great view of the district from the top of the hill in the middle of the park. There is also a big kids playground on the west side of the park.

This is the closes park with a playground for the kids. I spent many hours here when I lived in the apartment.

Alexandria Park

This isn't a local park and you will most likely need a car to get there although the kids will love it and it is on the water. You can find the kids playground at the end of Harris St in Pyrmont. There are also a couple of cafes close by for lunch.

Great Italian pizza with a good selection of wines. They also do coffee if you are heading to Alexandria Park.

Getting Around
Redfern station is a two minute walk. You can get trains to the city centre, Circular Quay and even Bondi.
If you need to buy a ticket then head up to the entrance on Gibbon St. If you have an Opal card then you can access the station at the top of Cornwallis St.
