Gulf shores is more of a quiet town and people are more respectful and nice than other places I've visited. This is why we decided to invest in a condo here on the beach.
We will also live here some day, hopefully sooner than later.

Dauphin Island is a neat place to visit, you can take the Ferry over with visitiing Ft Morgan or make the drive.

We stop here every chance we get, if you have never been you are missing out. They have a little of everything. It will soon be your favorite of all time Gas station too.

Importance of sand dunes
Alot of travelers get offended by being asked to stay off the dunes, the fact is most have no clue the meaning they have and their purpose. They Protect us from water from hurricanes and storm surges.
Hopefully this helps to educate, please explain to kids also.
