Guest House Grill is close to our place and offers pretty good food. There is a bar and they have really nice outdoor seating. They have a good variety on their menu from meats to pasta! They do roll up the fairly early during the week and close at 10:00 p.m on the weekend.

Parks & Nature
Located in Atascadero at Atascadero Lake Park! The Zoo is small and perfect for small children. The park has a great playground and lake is approximately one mile to walk around. You can also rent paddle boats, kayaks, conoe's and paddle boards.

One of my favorite places to hike and enjoy the ocean views. Approximately 30 minute drive. My favorite hike is to walk along the bluffs to rattlesnake trail and hike up the front side to Valencia Peak (One of the highest peaks in our county). NOTE: No dogs allowed

Great hiking trail! Cerro Alto is the highest peak in SLO County! 5-7 miles to top depending on where you start!

Outlaws in a local bar and grill that offers a poker room and blackjack gaming. New owners recently bought the bar and I notices a good crowd. Some nights they have Karaoke! Sunday night Prime Rib dinner is great! I think food is serviced daily until 11:00 p.m.

Sightseeing
Located up the coast approximately 45 minutes, the views of the coast are amazing. I love to watch the Elephant Seals. The Elephant Seals are always present but have different times of the year when they come to have their babies. It is really interesting to learn about them. Usually, there is a volunteer docent who teaches all about them! I highly recommend!

It's hard to believe that William Randolph Hurst created this amazing Castle with unbelievable artifact imported from all over the world. I have been to many castles but have NEVER seen such an amazing Castle/Museum!
