Sightseeing

Shere is the quintessential English village located between the towns of Guildford and Dorking. Many village houses date from the 15th century; a stream, home to the village ducks, wends its way through the village. There's a small museum, a cafe, two pubs, The White Horse and The William Bray as well as 12th century St James Church.
The village has featured in films such as 'The Holiday', 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', 'Bridget Jones'...............

We are 20 mins from Guildford station by taxi; a fast train from London Waterloo station to Guildford takes 40 minutes.
