Great casual seafood restaurant (board shorts and flip flops). Most of the seating is outside and is dog friendly. They use locally caught fish and shrimp. This is our go to lunch spot, you will not be disappointed.
Also very reasonably priced and has a playground in the back for the kids.

Best brunch on the island. Mostly outside seating with greenery and large oaks. The $10 bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's also play in their favor. Our go to brunch spot when people come to visit. I suggest the chicken and waffles if you prefer food and drinks, or just food.

Really cool location under the bridge going onto the island. It recently opened back up, so there may be a bit of a wait if you go around dinner time. Good seafood, full bar and laid back/ local atmosphere.

Been around forever and is our go to dessert spot. They are located right in the middle of centre street, making it a popular destination. All the fudge and bakery treats are made in house. They also offer ice cream and a few coffee choices.

Best local bar on the island. 75% of the place is outside and has the total surfer feel. Always have a live band on the weekends and stays open till 2am. This is strictly a bar, the only thing to do besides drink and listen to music is play ping pong if you're lucky enough to get on the table.

Oldest bar in Florida. Not the nicest place in town, but definitly worth checking out, just to say you did it.

This is truly a local spot. Located in a strip mall about 5 mins up the road. Irish bar where you go to drink and smoke inside. Fun late night almost dive bar type feel.

Parks & Nature
This is the best and easiest spot to access the beach. Lots of parking and a public restroom. There is also a skate park, inline hockey rink, and putt putt golf if the sand isn't your thing.
