Place reminds me of the soup nazi from Seinfeld. Great Italian food but quirky atmosphere. They don't take reservations but they take priorities(?) Anyhow, I highly recommend this place. Come hungry.

We have stayed at the Chalfonte for many years. The breakfast is legendary and we always seems to weigh much more after having breakfast. Grits are the best in the state and the fried catfish is simply awesome (yes, fried catfish for breakfast!). The innkeepers are great people and if you get a chance, I would stay there a few nights as well.

The innkeepers are great people and if you get a chance, I would stay there a few nights as well.
If you are a person who truly enjoys the hot dog, this is a place you must visit. There is about 50 different hot dogs to choose from and sides as well. Don't be discouraged by the line of people waiting, it goes quick and it is verification that the Dogs are unique.
