This road has a lot of Chinese restaurants as well as food from other areas. Royal China has a good reputation - not cheap - but it's fun to walk along and just pick somehwere. The bowling alley and ice rink are here too

Get there before 11 to avoid the crowds - or go late to get the bargains on the fruit and veg stalls. NB there is no market on Thursdays

It’s close to the Saatchi gallery so you could combine a visit to the gallery. And there is a nice square next to the saatchi gallery with a few cafes and restaurants which have lots of outside tables. Peter Jones is right opposite Sloane square tube which is a couple is stops on the circle line from Notting Hill Gate and sells men and women’s fashion, children’s clothes, makeup, fabric, bedlinen. carpets, crockery, glasses, coffee makers, and electronics. Most things you could possibly want and all of a good quality.
