River View Suite - San Ignacio Resort Hotel

Located on the lower hillside of the Resort, the River View Suite highlights an outdoor living space with lounge chairs and dining area from which our guests can enjoy the scenic views of the Macal River and surrounding rainforest valley. The Suite has two separate sleeping spaces featuring a King bed in the master bedroom and, a Queen bed in a separate area. The room is equipped with a wet bar, large bathroom, and small seating area in each chamber. Free access to the Green Iguana Project.

We are new on this site but have hosted hundreds of happy guests in the past. I am a caring host and am ready to help in any way I can. Our beautiful room comes with two double-beds, or one king-size bed (bedding can be requested but not guaranteed). The room is equipped with a smart TV, Wi-Fi , safety box, comfortable beds and linens, AC, iron & iron board, private bathroom with shower essentials, hair dryer, refrigerator, and a private Balcony with furniture for reading and relaxing.

Sharing our home located in the lush and ornate rainforest with guests is a joy. We are grateful to share with you the wonder of a natural habitat also home to over 250 species of birds, a plethora animal, plant and insect species with whom we share our 360-plus acre property. Yet, we are located only 35 minutes from San Ignacio. Calico's location near the Mountain Pine Ridge provides access to popular attractions--Caracol, Rio on the Pools and Barton Creek.
