We're 10 minutes from Southwold, surrounded by countryside with walks right outside. It's perfect for couples, families or friends and dogs! Downstairs is a large open-plan lounge, kitchen/dining area and bathroom. Upstairs has two double bedrooms. It's a great base for visiting Southwold beach, shops, restaurants and pier, then returning to the peace and quiet of Uggeshall. We live in the grounds but are very respectful of privacy and strive to ensure you completely relax during your stay.

Situated off the A12 for easy access to RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich and the Norfolk Broads and only 1 mile from Latitude music festival. Our popular "gastropub" local is only 100m from your door, and a well-stocked village shop with Suffolk-sourced produce and all the essentials is just opposite. There's a farmshop and nursery in the village, plus a children's play area over the road. Enquire for bike hire.

Unique 2 bedroom hut with covered dining area

The hut consists of a ground floor living room and bedroom with a second mezzanine bedroom, accessed by ladder. Both bedrooms have king-sized mattresses. The living room has a sofa bed which can accommodate 2 extra guests if required. There is a canopy covered dining/cooking area with a four-ringed gas stove. Lit by solar lights in the evening. The lighting is powered by solar with four fast-charging USB sockets. There is free wifi. There are shared, wood-fired showers, compost loos, peaceful.

Tranquil creative space near Southwold

Ditch Studio is a self contained, contemporary extension to an 18th century workers cottage on the Henham estate ( home to Latitude festival ). A tranquil haven surrounded by a wild garden, fields and ancient woodlands.The Studio was crafted by its artisan hosts using sustainable and reclaimed materials where possible. The ground floor has a polished concrete floor with underfloor heating, a galley kitchen and wet room with a Moroccan plastered shower. Upstairs is the attic bed/sitting room.

The Dairy at Bortons Farm

The Dairy at Bortons Farm is a self-contained annexe attached to the rear of the farmhouse. 15 minutes drive from Southwold, it offers a peaceful rural location but near to the beautiful beaches of Southwold and the busy market town of Beccles. We have 2 bedrooms, a shower room, two toilets and a fully fitted kitchen plus washing machine. Wifi throughout. Enclosed and secure garden. Accommodation is on three levels with a large double bedroom, kitchen diner leading to the shower room and toilet, and lounge area containing a double sofa-bed. A conservatory off the lounge leads to a utility room with downstairs toilet and a south facing patio area. Off-road parking included.
