This private peninsula has been a Northwoods getaway for the past 75 years, formerly as a resort and now as a unique collection of just three cabins. This listing is for Cabin #1, a lofted cabin that sits right along the waterfront. Each cabin has it's own firepit, picnic table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. The 6-person barrel sauna, kayaks, and all other outdoor spaces are shared among all guests. We're just 15 mins. from Downtown, Mt. Itasca, Tioga MTB Trails, and the Chippewa Nat'l Forest.

Lake Cabin

My lake cabin is on a private lake with no public access (Please note, I do not have a boat landing for guests to bring their own boats due to the steep hill). It is near numerous snowmobile/ATV trails, many beautiful lakes, and the Chippewa National Forest. There is 250 feet of lakeshore and over 30 acres of hunting land across County Road 65. The cabin is on over 4 acres; plenty of room to relax. There is a boathouse, dock, two kayaks, a small boat & motor, a fire pit and gas grill.

Upstairs apartment all to yourself. Large bedroom with a king Tempur-Pedic bed and sitting area w/desk; queen-size blowup bed and additional bedding available. Fully functional kitchen with microwave, stove, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, pots/pans, plateware, glassware, and utensils. Bathroom includes full tub and shower, pedestal sink. Roomy living room with smart TV and space to relax. Walking distance to coffee shop, restaurants, some bars, grocery. Bike trail nearby.

Built in 2017, this two-story cabin features a great room with a fireplace, a full kitchen with stainless appliances, and comfy log furnishings. Sweet little cedar log cabin is 40 feet from Caribou lake. Full kitchen, bathroom with shower, cozy bed and living area, get a breeze off the lake in the summer, and enjoy in floor heat in the cold season. This year round cabin for two is the perfect place for a romantic get away. Swim, fish, hike, mountain bike in the summer, hunt in the fall, cross county ski the Suomi hills in the winter and mushroom hunt and fish in the spring. A great place to get away from it all.
