Comfy cabin surrounded by nature

A bachelor cabin with queen bed, shower, kitchen. There is a large deck with a bbq to relax on overlooking the pastures, mountains and our cows. Beside the cabin is a spot for an outdoor fire, weather permitting. We have many trails off the property including a waterfall. We are close to town, but a world away. If you enjoy nature you will love our property. Our hottub is at the house with scenic views of the lake and town. With mulitiple guests we have booking times for private use.

Our Cabin in the Trees

Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

Authentic Finnish Log Cabin on Lakefront property at White Lake. Space for an RV is available. This small log cabin is perfect if you want a simple comfortable place to relax close to the lake. Not a glossy hotel, more upscale rustic. Relax around a campfire, enjoy beautiful sunsets from the dock a short walk from the cabin, rent the wood heated sauna, go for a hike or go fishing. We are on the quiet side of the lake and this is the only rental on the property. We live here year-round.

Perfect get away close Armstrong, Enderby, Silver Star Mountain, which has great mountain biking/hiking in the summer and fantastic skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Caravan Farm Theatre, Farmstrong Cidery, Enderby Cliffs, vineyards, and the Famous Log Barn all nearby if you want to make a day of it.

The cabin is off the grid with solar lighting, gravity fed water for washing and drinking and a brand new new outhouse for the potty room. Large patio doors in primary suite provide a picturesque view of the forest and creek. Every attention to detail has been thoughtfully prepared from silky smooth bed linens, robes for the hot tub, organic coffee and a few yummy treats specially prepared for your arrival.

Whether it’s your home on the way or a longer stay, you will enjoy your time here. Our little cabin has been recently fully renovated and is very clean. It is situated just 5 minute drive to Sunnybrae beach, 10 minutes to Blind Bay and Salmon Arm is just 15 minutes away. The yard shares a fence with horses, sheep and entertaining goats. We welcome well behaved dogs in the cabin, please let us know if you will be bringing one.
