On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. It's located in a garden paradise! ...a yard where you are encouraged to step off the path to pick fruits and vegetables. It's a lover's hideaway with multiple places to enjoy private conversation, champagne or simply be. Play scrabble in the vegetable garden, drink wine in the flower garden. African tortoises roam the yard on warm days, Rhode Island Reds hunt for bugs and provide fresh eggs.

Come Enjoy our Farm! Set in the Lower Frisco Valley south of Reserve you can enjoy the beautiful Gila National Forest and still be close to town and all its charming amenities. Our 2 bed/ 1 bath guesthouse is located on our working farm. Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch & breath in the fresh air and the green fields around you. Watch the grazing sheep in the field. While we love animals, and the farm cats may come greet you on the porch, we do have a NO PETS policy for the farmhouse.
