Wild Rose Cottage, Gardens, & Stained Glass Studio

Our 1914 cottage has weathered many storms and stands tall with charm. She is well loved and lived in. We have chickens pecking, ducks waddling through the gardens, sun shining through our stained glass, spiders spinning webs, paint drips, palmetto bugs, an old swing in the front yard, cats napping, Spanish moss in the trees, and a screened-in porch to take in the beauty of a long day's sunset. Our island homestead is for those looking for a down-to-earth stay with nature & art close at hand. ♥

The Lookout at Crow Hill, named after the quaint back-country road on which it sits, is your own little slice of paradise in the “Down East” area of the Carolina coast. Completely remodeled and elevated for maximum water views, you can enjoy casual waterfront living in style! The Yates Cottage is directly on the water and is designed for spectacular views of Core Sound and Cape Lookout Lighthouse with large windows on 3 sides. Other amenities are a large screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs, joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

The unit sleeps 4 – 5 and the property allows for parking trailered boats or RV’s.
